Planning privately and asking for an introduction are separate choices.
The planner
Using the planner.
You can use it without giving us your name, email address, or phone number. Your saved plan stays in this browser. Clearing browser data may remove it.
The request
Requesting an introduction.
You provide your contact details and a short project brief. Before submitting, you can review exactly what you’re sharing, including any shared budget range. We initially pass the authorized request to one eligible participating contractor.
Budgets
Your budget choices.
A private planning ceiling stays separate from the request. The budget range you choose on the introduction form is shared with the contractor so they can understand the project. You can select “Not sure yet”.
Messages
Messages about your request.
We may contact you about the request you make. This is separate from marketing. We won’t add you to marketing messages just because you use the planner or request an introduction.
Sharing again
Another introduction.
If another introduction is needed, we’ll follow the sharing policy and your consent. Saving a plan is never permission to send it to a contractor.
