How it works
Three steps to a quote.
Share your details.
The type of work, your area, timing, and the budget range you’re comfortable sharing. “Not sure” is an answer to most of it.
Match with a local contractor.
We check your request against participating contractors’ service areas and the work they take on. If nothing matches, we tell you.
Get a free quote.
They contact you to discuss the work and quote it themselves. You decide whether to hire them, and you are never obliged to.
Free for homeowners. Participating contractors pay us for introductions. We consider contractors in our network; we don’t compare every contractor in the area.
Where we work
Find pros in any town.
We take bathroom requests from 8 municipalities across Windsor and Essex County. Pick yours and we’ll ask about the project next.
We are still signing up the first participating contractors, so we cannot promise a match in any town yet. We will tell you plainly rather than hold your request.
Questions people ask first
Before you start.
Does this cost me anything?
There is no homeowner fee for using Renovation Ally’s planner or requesting an introduction. Participating contractors pay us. Any renovation work is quoted and charged separately by the contractor.
Can you tell me what my bathroom will cost?
We can explain what affects the cost, but we don’t quote renovation work. A contractor needs to discuss the scope and may need to see the room before providing a quote.
How many companies receive my request?
One eligible contractor receives your request first. We don’t send it to a list of companies at the same time. Any later introduction follows our sharing policy and your consent.
What does the contractor see?
The project and contact details you review before submitting, including the budget range you choose to share on the request form. A private budget entered in the planner stays separate.
Am I obliged to hire the contractor?
No. An introduction gives you a chance to discuss the project. You decide whether to arrange a visit, accept a quote, or hire the contractor.
